The Studio
Studio Fernandes was founded by Emma Fernandes through a personal understanding of renovation and the many decisions that sit behind a successful home.
After renovating her own house, Emma went on to study interior design and project management. That experience shaped an approach that gives equal weight to creative direction, practical planning and the realities of construction.

The most successful interiors are not defined by a particular material, colour or style. They emerge through a series of decisions made in relation to one another, with consideration given to the way a home will be lived in, built and experienced.

Our
Approach
Every Studio Fernandes project begins with understanding how a home needs to be lived in.
From there, we consider the whole. Proportion and flow, materiality and colour, functionality and detail. Each decision is made in relation to the next, creating spaces that feel resolved rather than simply styled.
Some clients engage us to develop the complete design before taking it forward with their own builder and trades. Others have us involved from the earliest ideas through to the finished home.
In either case, the intention remains the same: to create a clear, cohesive design vision that can be carried through with care.
Studio Fernandes is led by Emma Fernandes, whose own renovation experience first prompted a deeper interest in the design and construction of homes.
With a background in interior design and project management, Emma brings both creative direction and practical understanding to each project. She stays close to the decisions that shape a home, from the overall flow through to the details that make it feel complete.
The studio works with clients who value a clear point of view, thoughtful guidance and a home that feels distinctly their own.
